STATEMENT Moneymarkets.net is a victim of spoofed emails. As a result, many people are receiving Emails that appear to have originated from us, when they were actually sent from another source. Spoofing also known as: "SPAM" is an attempt to trick the receiver to open attached files with extensions .gif, .jpg but particularly .exe and .zip. These last two extensions ".exe and .zip" usually contain damaging statements and viruses that could damage sensitive information in your database or in your computer. United States sites interested in investigation of this type of activities can contact the FBI under computer crimes using the following link: http://www.cert.org/tech_tips/FBI_investigates_crime.html To contact your local FBI field office, use the following link: http://www.fbi.gov/contact/fo/fo.htm Web sites outside of the United States, may want to contact with their local law enforcement. General security information cam be obtained at: To report any incident please go to: http://www.cert.org/reporting/incident_form.txt and complete an incident report or use the following link at: Emails being issued that appear to have originated from us are identified as: adam@moneymarkets.net, alice@moneymarkets.net and also: andrew, anna, bill, brenda, brent, cag, claudia, dave, hellen jack, jane, jim, john, julie, leo, linda, mary, mike, peter, ray, robert, serg, sergio, stan, ted, tom, etc, etc, etc. Please take the necessary steps to protect your valuable information and delete those messages, specially if they contain attachments with extensions .exe and .zip.
